Le mentorat est le th\u00e8me de la s\u00e9ance pl\u00e9ni\u00e8re d'ouverture du Congr\u00e8s international de m\u00e9decine universitaire (CIMU). Le d\u00e9vouement des mentors, qui apportent soutien, conseils et inspiration, est la cl\u00e9 de la r\u00e9ussite de tous en m\u00e9decine universitaire et m\u00e9rite d'\u00eatre reconnu.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Joignez-vous \u00e0 nous pour une conversation sur le mentorat avec la Dr.<\/strong> Marcia Anderson<\/strong>, vice-doyenne, Sant\u00e9 autochtone, justice sociale et anti-racisme, directrice ex\u00e9cutive des Affaires universitaires autochtones au Ongomiizwin Indigenous Institute of Health and Healing, Facult\u00e9 des sciences de la sant\u00e9 Rady, Universit\u00e9 du Manitoba, le Dr. Kevin Eva<\/strong>, directeur associ\u00e9 et chercheur principal au Centre for Health Education Scholarship et professeur et directeur de la recherche et des activit\u00e9s d\u2019\u00e9rudition en \u00e9ducation au D\u00e9partement de m\u00e9decine de l\u2019Universit\u00e9 de la Colombie-Britannique, la Dr. Quarraisha Abdool Karim,<\/strong> professeure d\u2019\u00e9pid\u00e9miologie clinique, Columbia University; pro-vice-rectrice, Sant\u00e9 africaine et directrice scientifique adjointe, University of KwaZulu-Natal, Afrique du Sud et le Dr. Jesse Kancir, <\/strong>, m\u00e9decin hygi\u00e9niste r\u00e9gional, Autorit\u00e9 sanitaire de la Nouvelle-\u00c9cosse et ancien pr\u00e9sident de la F\u00e9d\u00e9ration des \u00e9tudiants et des \u00e9tudiantes en m\u00e9decine du Canada. Lors de cette s\u00e9ance, les participants seront expos\u00e9s \u00e0 des id\u00e9es non seulement sur la meilleure fa\u00e7on de r\u00e9aliser le plein potentiel du mentorat, mais aussi sur la mani\u00e8re de faire en sorte que le mentorat soit important pour les facult\u00e9s et constitue un aspect significatif de la promotion et de la titularisation dans nos universit\u00e9s.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
