Le Forum canadien des \u00e9tudiants en recherche en sant\u00e9 (FCERS) sera d\u00e9sormais int\u00e9gr\u00e9 au CIMU. Le CIMU accueillera \u00e9galement le symposium annuel de l\u2019Association des cliniciens-chercheurs en formation du Canada\/la Soci\u00e9t\u00e9 canadienne de recherches cliniques et inclura des \u00e9tudiants du programme MD\/PhD ainsi que des stagiaires du programme de cliniciens-chercheurs de tout le Canada. Nous avons \u00e9labor\u00e9 le programme du congr\u00e8s de mani\u00e8re \u00e0 int\u00e9grer nos stagiaires en sciences fondamentales et nos stagiaires cliniciens-chercheurs. S'\u00e9talant sur deux jours et demi, ce volet du congr\u00e8s accueillera des conf\u00e9renciers de renom, des ateliers, des s\u00e9ances de perfectionnement professionnel, des activit\u00e9s de mentorat et des pr\u00e9sentations par affiches r\u00e9alis\u00e9es par les stagiaires.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Symposium Gairdner<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Le 14 avril, la Fondation Gairdner organisera un symposium qui mettra en lumi\u00e8re les contributions exceptionnelles de quatre laur\u00e9ats Gairdner. La Fondation Gairdner a \u00e9t\u00e9 cr\u00e9\u00e9e en 1957 avec pour objectif principal de reconna\u00eetre et de r\u00e9compenser l'excellence internationale en mati\u00e8re de recherche fondamentale ayant un impact sur la sant\u00e9 humaine, par le biais de sept prix annuels. Depuis 1957, la Fondation Gairdner a distribu\u00e9 402 prix pour des recherches scientifiques exceptionnelles. Au total, 96 laur\u00e9ats Gairdner ont remport\u00e9 le prestigieux prix Nobel. Les laur\u00e9ats Gairdner qui prendront la parole au CIMU sont :<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Conf\u00e9rence de Lindau<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
    <\/div>\n\n\n\n

    La conf\u00e9rence Lindau est pr\u00e9sent\u00e9e par le meilleur \u00e9tudiant en doctorat, s\u00e9lectionn\u00e9 par le Forum canadien des \u00e9tudiants en recherche en sant\u00e9 (FCERS), qui a eu l'occasion de participer aux r\u00e9unions des laur\u00e9ats du prix Nobel de Lindau, en Allemagne. Les Rencontres des laur\u00e9ats du prix Nobel \u00e0 Lindau offrent un forum mondialement reconnu pour les \u00e9changes entre les laur\u00e9ats du prix Nobel et les jeunes chercheurs. Elles sont une source d\u2019inspiration pour des g\u00e9n\u00e9rations de chercheurs du monde entier. Cette ann\u00e9e, le Dr Kevin Wang sera le conf\u00e9rencier Lindau dans le contexte du CIMU, le 13 avril prochain.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Le prix du jeune chercheur Joe-Doupe reconna\u00eet les travaux de recherche exceptionnels et novateurs d\u2019un chercheur au cours des huit premi\u00e8res ann\u00e9es d\u2019une premi\u00e8re affectation universitaire. Cette conf\u00e9rence est une excellente occasion pour les stagiaires de recherche de s'entretenir avec le conf\u00e9rencier, d'am\u00e9liorer leurs connaissances scientifiques, d'entendre parler du succ\u00e8s, des choix de carri\u00e8re et de la trajectoire de quelqu'un qui a lui-m\u00eame une formation similaire.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
