sant\u00e9 (OMS) a d\u00e9fini la notion de responsabilit\u00e9 ou d\u2019imputabilit\u00e9 sociale des facult\u00e9s de m\u00e9decine comme \u00ab\u00a0l\u2019obligation d\u2019axer leurs activit\u00e9s d\u2019enseignement, de recherche et de services sur les pr\u00e9occupations prioritaire en mati\u00e8re de sant\u00e9 de la communaut\u00e9, de la r\u00e9gion et de la nation qu\u2019elles ont le mandat de servir. Ces pr\u00e9occupations doivent \u00eatre d\u00e9termin\u00e9es conjointement par les gouvernements, les organismes de sant\u00e9, les professionnels de la sant\u00e9 et le public.\u00a0\u00bb<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p>Les facult\u00e9s de m\u00e9decine canadiennes ont un r\u00f4le important \u00e0 jouer pour garantir que le syst\u00e8me de soins de sant\u00e9 canadien, tr\u00e8s appr\u00e9ci\u00e9 de tous, continue \u00e0 offrir un acc\u00e8s et une qualit\u00e9 n\u00e9cessaires pour r\u00e9pondre aux besoins de la population.<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p>L'AFMC accorde la priorit\u00e9 aux initiatives qui permettront aux facult\u00e9s de m\u00e9decine et au syst\u00e8me de soins de sant\u00e9 d'apporter un meilleur soutien aux communaut\u00e9s et aux populations traditionnellement marginalis\u00e9es, ainsi qu'\u00e0 la plan\u00e8te tout enti\u00e8re.<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p>Dans le cadre de son plan strat\u00e9gique actuel, l'AFMC se concentre sur les efforts de
